Started my career with Kanbay as a Trainee and then moving on to Associate Consultant in 3 years. Received numerous accolades, appreciations and awards during my tenure in Kanbay. Most precious one (and close to my heart) is the certificate awarded to me by then CEO of Kanbay for achieving CMM Level 5 as a Pioneer Project. This was a well deserved one for me and my team. :) Moving from CMM Level 1 to Level 5 in 10 months straight was an incredible feat to achieve.

Moving from Kanbay to Satyam was life changing decision. Satyam provided me a much need "Global" perspective. I got a chance to work with TWO of the biggest conglomerates in world. Along with that I got a chance to be on their sites in Dubai and Australia (Sydney) for almost 90% of my tenure. With exposure to new cultures (within company and outside), countries and some super dynamic people (within company and outside) and me adapting & learning from all, I was promoted to management!!!

Home sickness and some corporate cultural differenes forced me to leave Satyam and come back home to Mumbai, thanks to Hexaware. Typical "I am always correct western client" and a bleeding project in all sense. All my Kanbay and Satyam learning actually came into play and got honed up here in Hexaware. within an 8 months the project was stabilized and people were thinking of optimization rather than just containing / managing the client / project. But due to health issues I had to move on!!!

And practising agile & scrum from past 30 months (as of Jan 2011). Earned CSM !!! (I prefer to say earned) And I got to know the term used for the management style I was using all these years. (SCRUM). EMPOWERED TEAMS, FLAT STRUCTURE, LEAN THINKING, AGILE PRINCIPLES.... all in PRACTICE!!! On the job!! And still learning....
